Asics signs wrestler Antim Panghal as brand athlete

Asics, a Japanese sports performance brand has onboarded Indian female wrestler Antim Panghal to its team of brand athletes in the country.

She joins Asics elite roster of brand athletes that include tennis stars Sumit Nagal, Rohan Bopanna, Karman Kaur Thandi, cricketer Prasidh Krishna, squash players Joshna Chinappa, Saurav Ghoshal, marathon champion T Gopi and hockey player Manpreet Singh.

As part of this association, Asics will provide Panghal with state-of-the-art footwear and apparel to enhance her performance.

Antim Panghal will be representing India in wrestling at the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics and is regarded as a strong medal contender.
