Sportswear brand Asics has launched a new brick-and-mortar store in Pune to boost its store network in Maharashtra. Located within the city’s Amanora Mall, the store retails clothing, footwear, and accessories for a range of sports.
“Step up your game with Asics, now open at West Block, Ground Floor, Amanora Mall,” announced the shopping centre on Facebook. “Experience top-notch performance gear and stylish activewear that’s perfect for every fitness enthusiast. Come visit us today and elevate your workout wardrobe!”
The store features large digital screens on its façade and a bright, modern style interior. Products are displayed in segments and a wall is dedicated to sneakers. Asics specialises in running wear and retails brightly coloured apparel for men and women.
The store launched with Asics’ new ‘Nagino Collection’, designed to mix performance with style. Asics joins Indian and international brands including Azorte, Forever 21, and Go Colors in the mall, all of which have opened outlets in the shopping centre recently. Asics has opened a number of stores in the past few months, including in Thiruvananthapuram on the second floor of the city’s Lulu Mall in March.
Asics was originally launched by Kihachiro Onitsuka as a basketball shoe manufacturer and is headquartered in Kobe, Japan. The brand retails in India through a mix of franchise stores, multi-brand outlets, its own e-commerce platform and multi-brand platforms.
