“Like our customers, Megamart too is extremely value conscious and therefore understands that a rupee less is a rupee saved,” said Megamart’s COO KE Venkatachalapathy, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. “The company is very watchful in every rupee spent. Today, Megamart has the lowest operational costs in the industry, ensuring further savings for our customers. But this does not mean a compromise in quality. Megamart holds intensive training programs for its front-end staff, so that every customer is not just happy, but delighted.”

Arvind’s Megamart chain currently counts 130 stores in 45 Indian cities. The brands which feature in Megamart stores are either Arvind’s own labels or global brands which Arvind has the license to retail in the Indian market.

“The last 14 years haven’t been easy, but thanks to the immense support of our customers, employees, and stakeholders, we have led the value retail revolution in India and will continue to do so,” said Arvind Brands and Retail’s CEO J Suresh. “And now, as we enter our 15th year, it is time for us to thank everyone who has helped us in our journey so far. I look back at those last 14 years with immense pride and joy and look forward to the coming years with great optimism and with a vision of turning India into the retail hub of the world.”
