Apparel Group to open 200 new stores in India and the Middle East by 2025 end

Retail giant Apparel Group plans to open 200 new stores for its clothing and lifestyle label R&B across India and Gulf Cooperation Countries by the end of 2025. The move will more than double its current R&B store count of just over 135 outlets.

“Our aggressive expansion strategy is meticulously crafted to transcend traditional retail boundaries, profoundly reshaping the fashion landscape,” said Apparel Group’s CEO of R&B Fashion Arun Pagarani in a press release. “Each new R&B store emerges as a gateway to global fashion trends, meticulously adapted to resonate with local preferences, ensuring a seamless blend of quality, style, and exceptional value. We are not just opening stores; we are crafting dynamic hubs that celebrate the diversity and individuality of our customers. This expansion is a bold step towards establishing R&B Fashion as the premier fashion destination in every market we enter.”
 
The new stores will retail product categories including men’s, women’s, and children’s apparel, accessories, toys, and beauty goods. Along with opening in new locations, R&B also plans to connect with shoppers through its brick-and-mortar outlets by making them into customer-centric spaces that cater to diverse customer groups, according to the brand.
 
In the financial quarter just past, R&B opened more than 12 new stores across India and GCC. For its upcoming launches, the business plans to focus on prominent urban centres across India, the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.
