Andal Gems & Jewels has expanded its contemporary fine jewellery offering and launched its ‘Spiral Collection’. The new line features a mix of diamonds, brightly coloured gemstones, and 18 karat gold and has launched online.
“It’s all about a beautiful adventure that we’re all on, teeming with ups and downs, surprises, love and magic,” said brand founder Esshitha Guna about her inspiration for the line in a press release. “To us that’s encapsulated in the symbolism of a spiral. The twists, the turns, the burst of colours within the spiral reflects personal choices and reminds us of beautiful surprises. It’s a metaphor of the universe’s ever evolving nature and full of possibilities.”
The line’s central spiral motif features on necklaces and bracelets. With diamonds set around the outer side of the spiral, a peek a boo effect is created for the colourful gemstones set on the underside of the spiral, coming in colour ways including pink and green.
Gemologist and jewellery designer Esshitha Guna named the brand after her Grandmother and Andal specialises in natural gemstones and diamonds. Based in Hyderabad, the brand retails from its direct to customer e-commerce store which also carries a collection of signet rings, tennis bracelets, and link bracelets. The brand gained visibility when it created the engagement ring for Bollywood celebrity Aditi Rao Hyadri and the brand also creates a range of ‘Toi et Mois’ creations for weddings and engagements.
