Amethyst hosts desi brand Bodhi Tree in Chennai

This August, multi-brand premium Indian fashion boutique Amethyst will host Bodhi Tree in Chennai. The retailer will hold an exclusive showcase of two of Bodhi Tree’s womenswear collections from August 7 to 14.

On top of the business to customer showcase, Bodhi Tree’s designers Deepika Chadha and Neha Mahidhar will attend the event in person on August 7 and 8 and discuss their inspirations, including those behind its ‘Bonsai Collection’ and its ‘Core Collection’, Amethyst announced in a press release. Shoppers will have the chance to interact with the designers and learn more about their processes as well as their journey as friends and entrepreneurs.
 
Bodhi Tree’s Bonsai Collection features a number of artist collaborations, rendered in cottons, linens, denims and silks. With a range of everyday and work wear, the collection has a fusion style aesthetic and also features designs for evenings out on the town. Clothing in the ‘Bonsai by Bodhi Tree’ collection is priced from Rs 6,000 to Rs 20,000 and includes tops, tunics, jackets, pants, and dresses.
 
The label’s Core Collection, this season named ‘The Road We Travel’, is inspired by the artisans and craftspeople Bodhi Tree works with as part of its commitment to ‘Make in India’. The collection highlights handloom weaves and is designed to celebrate India’s textile heritage.
