Amazon India’s annual Prime Day sales event scheduled to be held on July 20 and 21 will see new product launches by over 450 brands across various categories.
The two-day event will see launches by small and medium businesses (SMBs) that include sellers, manufacturers, startups, women entrepreneurs, artisans, weavers among others under its programmes like Launchpad, Karigar, Saheli, and Local Shops.
The eighth edition of the event will offer products in fashion, beauty, home, furniture and other categories at discounted rates.
Commenting on the sale event, Akshay Sahi, head of Amazon Prime India in a statement said, “We are excited to offer Prime members two days of great deals and savings, thousands of new product launches from over 450 brands, blockbuster entertainment and more. Not just that, Prime members ordering from across India will be able to enjoy the same day and next day delivery across millions of products.”
Amazon launched its flagship event Prime Day in India in 2017 with 100 product launches. Last year, the event saw more than 45,000 product launches.
