Aldo launches Loony Tunes collaborative line in India

Footwear and accessories brand Aldo has tied up with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products to launch a collaborative Loony Tunes collection for men and women. Featuring a mix of graphic footwear, handbags, and accessories, the line has launched on Aldo’s India e-commerce store and in select brick-and-mortar outlets in the country.

“This collaboration with WBDGCP has allowed us to infuse our designs with the timeless humour and joy that these characters represent,” said Aldo’s chief brand and product officer Daianara Grullon Amalfitano in a press release. “Our aim was to create a collection that not only celebrates these iconic Looney Tunes characters but also invites our customers to embrace their playful side and indulge in a bit of nostalgia. This collaboration is a true testament to the fun and ingenuity that both Looney Tunes and Aldo bring to the table.”
 
The limited edition collaborative collection is the first time Aldo and Looney Tunes have come together and it is designed to capture the imaginative and spirited essence of both brands. Looney Tunes’ signature characters Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Tweety Bird feature on sneakers, high heels, and slides which are all made with Aldo’s ‘Pillow Walk’ technology. Youthful handbags with charms, chains, and a mix of practical and trend-driven features also launched as part of the collection.
 
Aldo was established in 1972 in Canada and retails globally. The Looney Tunes franchise includes films, television series, games, and consumer products among other formats.
