Aigner Watches launches in India with Tata’s Titan Company Limited at Mumbai event

German watch brand Aigner Watches will launch in the Indian market through a partnership with Tata Group business Titan Company Limited. The businesses held a joint event in Mumbai to celebrate the initial rollout of Aigner across 50 select Titan watch stores in major Indian cities.

“It brings me immense joy to announce the launch of Aigner Watches in India, marking a significant milestone in our global journey,” said Jacques du Manoir AG’s director of sales Tony Harris, India Retailing reported. “Our partnership with Titan Company, the market leaders for watches in India with the immense width of distribution and retailing across various formats gives us a fantastic platform to reach out to the large and fast-growing market of discerning customers.”
 
The launch event took place at Gallops Mumbai inside the Mahalaxmi Racecourse and actor, producer, director, and equestrian Randeep Hooda spoke on the occasion. Hooda shared his love for horses and excitement about the new launch, announced author, publisher, and founder and president of The Horologists Mitrajit Bhattacharya on Facebook, sharing a video he took at the event.
 
“The premium watch market in India is on a high growth trajectory, where a growing number of consumers are seeking high fashion, accessible luxury,” said Titan Company’s watches division vice president Rahul Shukla. “Titan’s portfolio of international brands addresses multiple customer segments and price points and Aigner now allows us to offer accessible luxury to all.”
 
Aigner Watches has signed an exclusive partnership agreement with Titan Company Limited which will introduce it to Titan’s pan-India customer base and booster Titan’s international brand offering. Aigner was founded by Etienne Aigner in Munich, Germany in 1965 before it made its global debut in 1973.
