Gifting and accessories brand Archies has formed a strategic partnership with Al Hasnae Gifts to enter the Gulf Cooprtation Council market, tap into growth opportunities in the region, and begin its global expansion journey.
“We are delighted to join hands with Al Hasnae Gifts for our GCC expansion,” said Archies’ executive director Varun Moolchandani, India Retailing reported. “This partnership marks a significant step in our journey to spread joy and strengthen emotional connections through thoughtful gifting. The GCC region is a dynamic market with immense potential, and we are excited to bring Archies’ signature gifting range to a new audience.”
By partnering with Al Hasnae Gifts, Archies has integrated into numerous multi-brand retail networks in the area including Union Co-op stores in Dubai, Carrefour stores, and Adcoop outlets across Al Ain and Abu Dhabi. Following its expansion into the GCC market, Archies plans to further widen its retail presence in the Middle East and begin operations in Bahrain, Oman, and Saudi Arabia to secure a strong presence in the region.
“We are pleased that the NRI [non-resident Indian] community can now rediscover the nostalgia of Archies and exchange heartfelt gifts, especially during festivals, which hold such deep significance for them,” said Moolchandani. “We anticipate generating AED 7 to 8 million in revenue during the first year of this collaboration.”
Archies retails gift items ranging from perfumes and jewellery to toys, kitchenware, and gift hampers among others, according to its Facebook page. The brand counts around 325 brick-and-mortsr stores across India.
