The house of Karl Lagerfeld is returning to Pitti, menswear’s most important trade show, in January, and promises an acosutic performance by brand ambassador Victor Ray.
The Amsterdam-based fashion house is planning a one-of-a-kind immersive presentation that will encapsulate the brand’s iconic heritage through experiential storytelling and bespoke decor.
“Returning to Pitti Uomo is a meaningful moment to invite our audience into the ever-evolving world of Karl,” said Pier Paolo Righi, CEO of Karl Lagerfeld.
The next edition of the famed fashion salon, Pitti 107 – which will feature two gala runway shows by Japanese rising star tailoring brand Setchu and MM6 Maison Margiela – will be staged in Florence, Italy, from January 14 to 17.
“Our presentation is a testament to Karl’s iconic legacy and visionary spirit, serving as a bridge between the rich inspiration he left us and the exciting future we’re shaping. It’s an opportunity to deepen connections with those who already embrace his world, and to spark new relationships with individuals who share his bold passion for creativity, individuality, and the extraordinary,” Righi added.
The KL invitation-only event will take place on January 15, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Guests will be treated to an exclusive live acoustic performance by Victor Ray, the British singer and rising star who is a menswear ambassador for Karl Lagerfeld, and currently on a sold-out tour across Europe.
Located in the bustling Sala della Scherma – one of the fair’s key hubs – the Karl Lagerfeld and Karl Lagerfeld Jeans presentation will showcase the full spectrum of men’s collections, complemented by a curated selection of core DNA womenswear pieces that underscore the brand’s elevated offering. There is also a dedicated focus on white shirts – a key component in founder Karl’s wardrobe, a quintessential design and a signature element in the brand’s heritage.
The space will further showcase a selection of Fall-Winter 2025 collections, including eyewear, footwear, and accessory styles. Visible from its eye-catching exterior, the booth will strongly reflect Karl Lagerfeld’s distinct codes.
Bold and expressive, the minimalist black-and-white design will explore the dichotomies that Karl himself was known to love. The presentation will also offer an exclusive preview of the Spring/Summer 2025 campaign, starring TikTok sensation and happening male model, Calum Harper.
Founded a half-century ago by the late great Karl Lagerfeld, the house is led today by creative director Hun Kim; supported by members of the Karl family, like brand ambassador and product consultant, Sebastien Jondeau, and sustainability ambassador, Amber Valletta, among others.
Karl Lagerfeld currently retails in more than 200 stores worldwide – including premium wholesale and franchise partners, with key locations in Paris, London, Munich, Dubai and Shanghai. The brand also has a robust digital presence across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and in via its online store.
