Lab-grown diamond jewellery brand Solitario has travelled across India to take its ‘Bling Better’ tour to shoppers in cities including Pune, Bengaluru, and Chennai with brand co-founder and ambassador Vivek Oberoi. The business also plans to open new global stores as it establishes its international retail presence.
Solitario celebrated its first birthday by travelling to numerous Indian cities to hold festive events, the brand announced in a press release. During the Ganesh Chaturthi festival, Solitario’s CEO and co-founder Ricky Vasandani offered a 66-carat diamond tilak to the Shreemant Dagadusheth Halwai Ganpati to show the brand’s commitment to both culture and environmental values, according to Solitario.
“The ‘Bling Better’ tour has been a testament to Solitario’s vision of making sustainable luxury accessible to discerning customers,” said Ricky Vasandani in a press release. “As we wrap up this tour, we are proud to have grown by nearly 100%, and are looking forward to continuing this trajectory, with expectations of surpassing Rs. 100 crores in the coming fiscal year.”
Over the past six months, Solitario has opened three brick-and-mortar stores in India and three stores in global markets, including in Dubai. The business also set up a European headquarters in Barcelona and plans to launch two new brick-and-mortar stores in Malaysia.
