Prescription lenses business Essilor has partnered with celebrity cricket player Virat Kohli to launch a new campaign for India. The ‘Don’t let screen line steal your shine campaign’ is designed to enable the brand to further connect with shoppers with vision care needs.
“At Essilor®, we are thrilled to continue our partnership with global sports icon – Virat Kohli – and unveil a new and exciting chapter for our consumers,” said EssilorLuxottica South Asia’s president Narasimhan Narayanan in a press release. “Kohli’s phenomenal appeal and pursuit of excellence are aligned with our mission to raise awareness about clear and healthy vision at all ages whilst discovering our advanced technologies and superior products such as Eyezen® and Varilux®.”
The campaign includes a YouTube video starring Kohli. In the campaign, the various ways people strain their eyes by long contact with digital screens is explored and Kohli explains the benefits of Essilor’ Eyezen® lenses.
