Zippee, a Gurgaon-based platform specializing in same-day delivery services has raised $1.6 million (Rs 13 crore) in funding from Halriram Products, Founder Bank Capital, Piper Serica, and Misfits Fund.
Angel investors including Ashneer Grover, Kunal Shah, Piyush Bansal, Prashant Pitti, and Aakash Anand also participated in the funding round.
The start-up will utilise the funds on technology development and expansion of services across India.
Commenting on the funding, Madhav Kasturia, founder of Zippee in a statement said, “We have observed significant improvements in web conversions and repeat purchases when brands integrate same-day deliveries into their customer journeys, with potential increases of up to 95 percent.”
“With the newly secured funding, Zippee plans to expand its same-day delivery services to fifteen cities, enhance its technology platform, and scale its hiring efforts,” he added.
Zippee, founded in 2021 by Madhav Kasturia, enables direct-to-consumer brands to offer same-day deliveries through their own websites.
The company has established partnerships with renowned brands such as The Face Shop, Epigamia, Clinikally, Power Gummies, Anveshan, and Haagen Daaz among many others.
