Textile manufacturing business Sangam India is experiencing fast paced growth and expects to reach a revenue total of Rs 4,000 crore in the 2025 financial year. To achieve this, the business is expanding its production capacity in Rajasthan.
“We recorded Rs 2,730 crore revenue in FY23, and this financial year we are expecting to touch Rs 3,000 crore,” Sangam India’s managing director and CEO S N Modani told the Press Trust of India on the phone. “With our capacity expansion in various product categories, we are targeting close to Rs 4,000 crore revenue by 2024 to 2025.”
The business has a current production capacity to produce 0.6 million metres of fabric each day, ET Bureau reported. Sangam India’s annual production totals include 45 million metres of denim and the business is working on expanding its production capacity through targeted investments to maintain its swift growth trajectory.
“We had a capital expenditure of Rs 900 crore for expanding production capacity in a phased manner of cotton, denim, and synthetic weaving,” said Modani. “We have already spent Rs 600 crore and this year we have plans to spend Rs 300 crore for expansion of our production units, which will be done by December this year.”
Sangam India is also investing in technology integration to enable it to uphold its efficiency levels and maintain control as it expands its production capacity. The business uses automated systems to enable it to remotely monitor and fix machine problems with the support of its team of mechanical engineers.
