Sunglass Hut opens new store in Gurugram

Eyewear retailer Sunglass Hut has opened a new store in Gurugram in the city’s DLF Cyber Hub mall. The launch brings the US-based business’ India store count to 85.

The new Sunglass Hut store measures 530 square feet and is designed to look both modern and minimalist. The store retails a mix of fashion and performance eyewear, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. 
 
In-store, shoppers can browse frames by brands including Tiffany and Co, Prada, Prada Linea Rossa, Dolce and Gabbana, Burberry, Versace, Emporio Armani, Ray Ban, Oakley, Gucci, Michael Kors, Ralph, and Cartier among others. Designs have been curated to appeal to the Indian market as well as shoppers of all ages. 

Sunglass Hut joins Indian and international brands including Decathlon, Marks & Spencer, Miniso, Crocs, Adidas, Chumbak, Nike, The Body Shop, and Levi’s in the mall in Gurugram’s Phase 2, according to its website. The mall also houses dining and entertainment facilities. 
 
Sunglass Hut originated as a small family business in Miami, Florida in 1971 with a kiosk in a local mall, according to its website. Fifty years later, the business counts over 3,000 stores worldwide and retails a wide range of international eyewear brands both off- and online.
