Summer by Priyanka Gupta launches flagship store in Delhi’s Defence Colony

Womenswear brand Summer by Priyanka Gupta has opened a new flagship store in New Delhi’s D6 Defence Colony. The brand has expanded its brick-and-mortar footprint following a recent increase in direct to customer sales. 

The new Summer by Priyanka Gupta store is the brand’s first flagship store in the capital and is design to confirm the brand’s commitment to providing a premium shopping experience, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. The store’s product layout has been curated by designer and brand head Priyanka Gupta and uses a pastel, soft colour palette to create a serene ambience. 
 
Designed as an immersive retail experience for Delhi’s shoppers, the store’s design concept is named ‘The Apartment’. The design is intended to create the feeling of being at home through a warm interior and different store segments named ‘The Salon’, ‘The Living Room’, and ‘The Dining Room’. The store’s checkout counter is named ‘The Bar’ and shoppers can sip on a coffee as their purchases are put through the till. 

Inside the store, shoppers can find highly feminine kurta sets, lehengas, sarees, and other ethnic wear staples with delicate lace and bead embellishments. Fusion style dresses and tunics are also available as part of the brand’s latest collection. Along with its new flagship store, Summer by Priyanka Gupta retails across India and the Middle East through a selection of multi-brand boutiques both online and off, according to its website.
