Srila Chatterjee, founder of Baro Market and 47A, is set to bring a curated fashion edit to Ahmedabad from March 21 to 23, showcasing independent designers across clothing, jewellery, and accessories. The business to customer event will highlight brands that emphasise craftsmanship, innovation, and a strong connection to artisans.
The lineup features jewellery labels Anki Bunki, Beg Borrow Steal, and Goddess of Glocal, each known for blending contemporary aesthetics with traditional techniques, the event organiser announced in a press release. Menswear brand Kaleidoscope will present modern silhouettes, while Rouka will showcase artisanal sarees. The Bindi Project, known for its intricately designed wearable art, will also be part of the selection.
Scheduled to take place at Almirah Luxe Gallery on the first floor at One42 Billionaires Street in Ahmedabad, the event aims to connect up and coming designers with premium shoppers. “This edit is a celebration of creativity and craftsmanship, bringing together designers who push boundaries while staying rooted in tradition,” said Chatterjee in a press release.
Chatterjee’s initiative continues her commitment to supporting artistic talent and providing independent labels with a platform to engage with new customers. By curating such showcases, Chatterjee aims to foster spaces where contemporary design and heritage intersect, ensuring artisans and designers receive greater recognition. The event is expected to attract fashion enthusiasts looking for distinctive pieces that combine artistic expression with timeless appeal.
