Prémya expands ethical couture offering

Women’s couture brand Prémya has expanded its ethically sourced and zero waste women’s couture offering. The brand’s new launch takes a more minimalist approach and is designed to offer premium designs for the modern Indian woman. 

“The brand emulates the founder, Manishii’s desire to look at reality and offer a wide range of women fashions that are not too outlandish or unreal, whilst keeping sight of her signature romanticism,” announced the brand in a press release. “Getting rid of the excesses of the past, minimalism with a quiet control, elegance, where sensuality is the byword. A more carnal and less fragile yet charming collection. Their timeless colour story ascends from black to white to pastel neutrals and the fabric ranges from weightless georgettes, tulle, Chanderi to organza.”
 
Manishii Joshi launched Prémya as a couture brand to mix craftsmanship with sustainable design principles, according to the brand’s Facebook page. Prémya follows zero waste techniques and works with fourth generation craftsmen across India to create its occasion wear. 

The brand caters to women who enjoy both traditional and contemporary styles. Prémya retails from a number of multi-brand premium fashion boutiques in India, both online and offline, including Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop, Elahe, Lilly’s Boutique London, and Aashni & Co among others.
