Eyewear and eye care business Lenskart has partnered with quick commerce business Blinkit to introduce super fast delivery options. With Blinkit, Lenskart can now offer e-commerce deliveries to select locations in as little as 10 minutes.
“Blinkit customers can now get Lenskart.com products in 10 minutes,” announced Blinkit’s founder Albinder Dhindsa on Linkedin. “Starting with delivering sunglasses and their Hustlr range (computer glasses). Curious to see how Hustlr evolves as a brand over time.”
Many of the Lenskart sunglasses and computer glasses now available on Blinkit are currently reduced by 47% to 77% to promote sales. By embracing quick commerce, Lenskart aims to cater to shoppers on a tight timeframe.
Blinkit retails a wide range of products, from fashion and lifestyle goods to electronics to groceries, on its e-commerce store and mobile app. The business has different delivery times for different cities, according to its website. For example, deliveries in Mumbai take approximately 23 minutes while deliveries in New Delhi can be completed in around 10 minutes.
Lenskart also recently launched its new eyewear collection ‘Classic Metals’ for the Spring season, the business announced on Facebook. The men’s and women’s eyewear line features office friendly, classic style glasses with thin, metal frames in hues including pink and black.
