Korean beauty brand Etude holds first graduation party for Etude Academy

Amorepacific’s Korean beauty brand Etude held its first graduation ceremony for students of its Etude Academy beauty and social media school. Hosted by makeup artist Jazz Wahan, the event featured a makeup masterclass followed by a graduation and award ceremony.

“Witnessing the growth of the students at Etude Academy has been inspiring,” said Amorepacific’s managing director Paul Lee in a press release. “This inaugural celebration marked the beginning of many more achievements to come.The pursuit of excellence demonstrated by the students at Etude Academy is truly commendable.”
 
Students at the Etude Academy attended monthly classes over the course of six months to learn professional makeup skills and gain experience managing social media accounts. The graduation party was held at PVR Home and three students received cash prizes while every participant received a certificate to mark their completion of Etude’s course.  

“Etude Academy’s first Graduation Party was a testament to the commitment and enthusiasm of its students,” said Amorepacific’s head of marketing Mini Sood Banerjee. “The combination of makeup skills and social media expertise showcased the brand’s innovative approach. This is just the beginning, and we are eagerly anticipating our upcoming sessions where we can continue making a difference in the lives of these aspiring young artists. We take pride in being a brand that values skill development and celebrates achievements.”
 
Etude is a cosmetics brand established in Korea in 1985 and known for its youthful, feminine aesthetic. The brand forayed into international retail in 2007 when it launched in Thailand and today retails in countries including India and Japan.
 
“Seeing the energy and passion of the students at Etude Academy during their first Graduation Party was truly inspiring,” said Amorepacific’s brand manager Joel Ju Hyeon Park. “They’re not only skilled in makeup but also excel in leveraging social media, especially platforms like Instagram.
