D-Mart has opened a 35,000-square-foot store in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, leasing space in Migsun Group’s shopping mall. The new store retails a wide selection of clothing and lifestyle products for the whole family.
The hypermarket chain has signed a 29-year 11-month lease agreement for retail space at Migsun Mi Gente Mall in Raj Nagar Extension at a monthly rental value of Rs 21 lakh, Migsun Group announced in a statement, the Press Trust of India reported. D-Mart had previously acquired 47,000 square feet of space in Migsun Group’s project in Rohini, Delhi, for Rs 108 crore, further expanding its presence in the Delhi-NCR region. Migsun Group has developed over 40 projects across residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, education, and retail sectors in Uttar Pradesh and Delhi-NCR.
“It reflects our mall’s potential to drive commercial success,” said Migsun Group’s managing director Yash Miglani, India Retailing reported. “It is also a strong endorsement of our strategic planning and the region’s growth potential. We are confident this partnership will set new benchmarks for retail experiences in Ghaziabad and reinforce the mall’s position as a catalyst for economic growth.”
D-Mart’s latest expansion aligns with its strategy of securing large-format retail spaces in high-density urban areas to enhance accessibility for customers. The retailer continues to strengthen its brick-and-mortar footprint across North India, catering to growing demand for value-driven shopping experiences.
