Vicky Kaushal admits that Katrina Kaif has brought stability into his life.
Vicky expressed that you can never be the same person after the wedding as before everything is about you and after marriage, the ‘us’ factor supersedes your individual needs.
Vicky feels that the amount he has matured in the last two and a half years is way more than I did in the first 33 years of his life.
Katrina Kaif has made Vicky a lot more patient and made him see things differently. “We have elaborate discussions on everything and only when it works for both of us do we decide what to do,” adds the URI actor.
Vicky further adds that a beautiful calm has taken over and there is nothing that is making him fear the future. He is absolutely content when with Katrina and when he does not feel like rushing anywhere. He calls it the best feeling.
“I used to think the day I met the person who I could sit silently with for hours and not feel the silence, that was going to be my person. With Katrina, it’s that feeling. She’s home,” adds the Manmarziyaan star.
Vicky Kaushal also adds that he has never been overtly romantic but Katrina makes him that. “The feeling of being loved, being taken care of, and in return, caring and loving someone deeply, I just love that aspect of love. Emotionally, rationally, when I’m with her, I feel, ye sahi hai (this is right).”
Vicky Kaushal calls himself more practical and Katrina the emotional one and quips that it is a good balance.
Talking about the journey Katrina has had the actor acknowledges that the two of them go through their struggles like most couples. However, on a much deeper level, Kaushal says that being with Kaif has made him understand more closely the journey she, and hundreds of those who come without a certain privilege, have had to endure. He highlights that her life has been very different from the life he has lived. “I have had the luxury to struggle without the pressure of earning money or working two or three more jobs. When you’re cushioned by such luxuries, you can believe in things like karma, destiny, and manifestation. I am truly inspired by her.”
