Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) sees quarterly consolidated profit after tax increase by 11.7% in FY25 Q3, Reliance Retail reports growth

Reliance Industries Limited saw its quarterly consolidated profit after tax increase by 11.7% in the third quarter of the 2025 financial year and Reliance Retail Ventures Limited reported strong festive buying with a 10% year on year increase in profit after tax.

“Retail segment delivered a strong performance, with noteworthy contribution from all formats,” said Reliance Industries Limited’s chairman and managing director Mukesh D Ambani in a press release. “The business ably capitalised on the pick-up in consumption amid festive demand during the quarter. A superior understanding of customer needs and preferences enables Reliance Retail to serve a wide variety of demographic profiles with the right product, at the right time, through the right channel. With customer-centric innovation at its core, the business constantly endeavors to enhance the shopping experience of its customers through its vast reach and a constantly expanding product basket.”

Reliance Industries Limited’s third quarter results for the 2025 financial year included a record quarterly consolidated earnings before interest, depreciation, and amortisation of plus 7.8% year on year at Rs 48,003 crore. The business’ total quarterly consolidated profit after tax reached Rs 21,930 crore and its business Jio Platforms’ profits after tax increased by 25.9% year on year during the quarter. 

“Reliance Retail delivered strong performance during the quarter led by festive buying across consumption baskets,” said Reliance Retail Ventures Limited’s executive director Isha M Ambani in a press release. “Our focus on offering wide range of products at an attractive price value proposition continues to draw customers to our stores and digital platforms. We are creating through JioMart– express deliveries, scheduled deliveries coupled with Milkbasket- subscription services, a seamless shopping experience that serves diverse customers across all categories and catchment”

Reliance Retail’s gross revenue for the third quarter of the 2025 financial year totalled Rs 90,333 crore, up by 8.8% year on year compared to Rs 83,063 crore in the same quarter a year prior. The business’ revenue from operations increased by 7% year on year during the quarter and its EBITDA from operations increased by 9.8%.
