The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council discussed jewellery industry growth at its ‘Chintan Baithak’ for its upcoming trade show India International Jewellery Show 2025 in New Delhi as the traders’ body looked into ways to further empowering exhibitors.
The meeting took place at the GJEPC‘s regional office in New Delhi’s Jhandewalan neighbourhood on December 17, the GJEPC reported on its website. The industry body’s deputy director Vikrant Pradhan took the occasion to present an industry overview of the GJEPC’s strategies and main initiatives, with a focus on how the GJEPC aims to promote the business expansion of its exhibitors taking part in its trade shows.
“GJEPC aims to position IIJS as the world’s leading jewellery show,” said Pradhan, the traders’ body announced on its website. “To achieve this, exhibitors must embrace innovation and global expansion. By adopting advanced technologies, diversifying product offerings, and prioritising customer service, we can elevate the industry to new heights. Additionally, focusing on export markets is crucial to establishing IIJS as a truly international platform.”
The event was led by the GJEPC’s regional director for North India Sanjeev Bhatia and was designed to highlight the GJEPC’s contribution to driving industry growth. The IIJS 2025 Signature trade show will take place from January 4 to 7 at the Jio World Convention Centre and from January 5 to 8 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, according to the GJEPC’s website . The trade show’s 17th edition will feature over 3,000 stalls and more than 1,500 exhibitors, expecting to draw a crowd of over 25,000 trade visitors from India and abroad.
