Go Fashion Q2 net profit rises 3 percent to Rs 21 crore

Go Fashion India Ltd reported a 3 percent rise in net profit to Rs 21 crore ($2.5 million) for the second quarter ended September 30, as against Rs 20 crore in the year-ago quarter.

The company’s revenue for the quarter rose by 10 percent to Rs 209 crore, as against Rs 189 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.

For the half-year, Go Fashion registered a 6 percent year-on-year growth in its net profit at Rs 49 crore.

Commenting on the results, Gautam Saraogi, CEO, Go Fashion in a statement said, “We have successfully sustained our growth momentum despite the ongoing challenges in the apparel retail sector. For H1 FY25, our revenue grew by 13% to Rs 429 crore and our EBITDA stood at Rs 136 crore, a growth of 12%. In a challenging demand environment, this underscores strong customer loyalty and acceptance of our product and its pricing.”

“Our strategy of positioning ourselves as the go-to brand for all categories of women’s bottom wear, coupled with our focus on quality and competitive pricing, is expected to drive sustainable growth in the years to come,” he added.

Go Fashion retails women’s bottom wear products under its brand, Go Colors. It has a pan India retail network comprising of 755 exclusive brand outlets and around 2,387 large format stores.
