Kylie Cosmetics by Kylie Jenner launches debut fragrance in India

Celebrity and entrepreneur Kylie Jenner’s brand Kylie Cosmetics has expanded its product offering in the Indian market and entered the fragrance segment. The brand has launched its debut scent ‘Cosmic Kylie Jenner’ exclusively with multi-brand, omni-channel beauty retailer Sephora.

The amber and floral fragrance has notes of star jasmine and blood orange and is designed to have a rich, warm, and sweet aroma. Kylie Cosmetics made its India retail debut in April this year with a range of colour cosmetics and is known for its plumping lip products.
 
“I wanted to create something that was truly unique to me in every aspect, from the scent to the bottle, and a fragrance that people have never smelled before but that feels immediately comforting and delicious,” said Kylie Jenner in a press release. “We spent over two years working on this. I wanted it to be fresh yet sweet and to smell out-of-this-world, and to feature some of my favourite notes including star jasmine and vanilla musk. Because Cosmic is so personal to me, I also wanted the bottle and the packaging to reflect that, so I designed the carton with my birthday embossed in roman numerals and the bottle was shaped to fit in the palm of your hand. I cannot wait to share this with you.”
 
The ‘Cosmic Kylie Jenner’ scent has launched in three refillable bottle sizes as well as a travel-friendly pen-spray. Jenner launched Kylie Cosmetics in 2015 and the brand relaunched in 2021 with new formulas, supported by global beauty business Coty.
