Suta launches 14th store in Mumbai’s Bandra West

Women’s ethnic wear brand Suta has opened its 14th exclusive brand outlet to date in Mumbai. Located in the metro’s Bandra West neighbourhood’s Silver Pearl Building, the store specialises in bright, contemporary sarees.

“This store is incredibly special for us,” said Suta’s co-founder Sujata Biswas in a press release. “Bandra has an energy that makes you feel like you belong, and that’s exactly what we want people to feel when they step into Suta. This isn’t just a store; it’s a dream that has come to life.”

The new store brings the label’s Mumbai brick-and-mortar outlet total to three, with its other two stores in the metro located in Thane and Kalina. Suta also counts stores in Indian cities including Ahmedabad, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Trivandrum, and Kochi among others. 

The store is surrounded by plants and foliage to create to look of a lush jungle. Inside the space, Suta’s signature sarees and blouses hang amongst eclectic accessories and to create a modern ambience, designed to help the brand forge deeper connections with its customers. 

“Every new store reminds us of how far we’ve come and how much love we’ve received,” said Suta’s co-founder Taniya Biswas. “Bandra feels like home already, and we are thrilled to welcome our community into this space.”
