Aeffe has promoted Natalia Battaglini to general manager of Pollini. The Rimini-based fashion group, which also owns Alberta Ferretti, Moschino, and Philosophy, confirmed the move in a statement.
“Natalia has been an integral part of our organisation for years, demonstrating strong leadership, a deep understanding of the brand, and consistently delivering excellent results. Her appointment reflects our commitment to continuity, excellence, and respect for the brand’s values and tradition,” read the Aeffe statement.
Battaglini joined Pollini in 2018 and served as head of style and merchandising, shoes, and leather goods. Before joining the Aeffe-owned footwear label, the manager worked for five years in Valentino‘s merchandising division. From 2009 to 2023, she was a market analyst and merchandiser at the Zegna Group. She holds a degree in fashion management from Bocconi University and an Executive MBA from Bologna Business School.
With Battaglini’s appointment, Aeffe aims to inject new momentum into Pollini. On October 2, together with Pollini, it applied for admission to the negotiated crisis settlement procedure.
In recent weeks, the Aeffe Group postponed approval of its nine-month accounts, initially scheduled for November 14. The sales performance reviewed by the board of directors showed consolidated revenues of €155 million, down 25.1% at constant exchange rates (down 25.4% at current rates).
