“At Lenskart, we design products that address real consumer needs,” said Lenskart’s CEO and founder Peyush Bansal, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. “Phonic is for everyone who juggles multiple roles daily- whether it’s professionals in noisy offices, frequent drivers, or commuters who need hands-free convenience. Phonic empowers users to stay connected, productive, and stylish, without adding complexity to their lives.”

The range of Phonic glasses have launched on Lenskart’s direct to customer e-commerce store and in select retail outlets across India. The glasses retail for Rs 7,000 but have an introductory offer of 43% off and currently retail for Rs 4,000, according to Lenskart’s website.

Lenskart’s Phonic glasses use Bluetooth technology and are designed for use on the go, such as while commuting and driving. Phonic wearers can also interact with digital assistants and enjoy a hands free experience with seven hours of battery life.

By utilising Phonic’s voice assistance features, wearers can send messages and control their music through voice commands along with setting reminders. The glasses can be customised with prescription lenses or sunglasses.
