Spider-Man Brand New Day Box Office: Tom Holland starrer collects Rs 2 crore on 3rd Wednesday, nears Rs 555 crore mark

Must read

Spider-Man: Brand New Day collected Rs. 2 crore (Rs. 1.65 crore nett) on its third Wednesday, registering around 30 per cent drop from the previous day. The movie took its running cume to Rs. 552.15 crore gross at the Indian box office. The real gross collection, including 3D, reached Rs. 607.25 crore.

The Tom Holland movie is heading to close this week around Rs. 554 crore or so. Crossing the Rs. 600 crore gross mark (excluding 3D) looks out of sight now. Nevertheless, Spider-Man: Brand New Day has already emerged as an ALL-TIME BLOCKBUSTER in India.

There are probably seven other films since Jurassic Park in 1994 that can be classified as ATBBs, including Titanic, Avatar, The Jungle Book, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and Avatar: The Way of Water. Other potential contenders are Spider-Man 3, 2012, and Furious 7.

The Tom Holland film could also go on to hit 2 crore footfalls, which only two films have managed to do: Titanic and Avengers: Endgame. Brand New Day is currently the third-most-watched Hollywood film in India, with footfalls of around 1.9 crore.
