Jeanologia brings global finishing solutions to Bangladesh’s denim market

Sustainable textile technology business Jeanologia showcased its integrated technology ecosystem for denim manufacturing at the Dhaka International Textile and Garment Machinery Exhibition in Bangladesh. The Spanish business highlighted its G2 Dynamic technology and shared its plans to boost sustainability and tech adoption in Bangladesh. 

Jeanologia connected with both local and international industry players at the Dhaka International Textile and Garment Machinery Exhibition and presented its G2 Dynamic technology’s ability to make fabric treatment and garment finishing processes more eco-friendly by replacing polluting conventional processes with an eco-efficient, ozone-based alternative, the business announced in a press release. The business announced at the trade show that its technology will increase automation, efficiency, and sustainability in Bangladesh, making it more competitive in the global denim market. 

“Our goal is to transform the denim industry by offering an end-to-end solution that enables a more responsible, automated, and sustainable production model,” said Jeanologia’s Asia business director Jean Pierre Inchauspe in a press release. “Bangladesh plays a key role in this transformation, and our technologies support the country’s leadership in the global market.”

Jeanologia advertises its G2 Dynamic technology as able to cut water and chemical consumption by up to 95% and energy use by 80%. The business also highlighted its laser technology and G2 Indra offering which is based on Airwash technology and creates aged denim looks without the need for water or chemicals. 

Jeanologia has operated in Bangladesh’s textile industry for 20 years and positions itself as a strategic partner for numerous large scale manufacturers in the country. Aiming to help make the country’s apparel and textile sectors more eco-efficient and competitive, the business announced that it is accelerating the shift towards a new era of digital and sustainable denim production.
