Cord Studio launches concept store in Delhi on 10th anniversary

Luxury lifestyle brand Cord has opened a concept store in New Delhi to house a multi-brand selection of clothing, jewellery, antiques, homeware, and a coffee corner. The store is the brand’s largest brick-and-mortar offering to date and it opened its doors as Cord celebrates its 10th anniversary.

“Cord Studio marks 10 years with a new concept store in Delhi, blending fashion, art, and storytelling,” announced Cord on Facebook. “A space inspired by travel and craftsmanship, it offers an immersive experience and a new chapter in creativity.”

The brand collaborated with architectural design business Sector Form to create the store’s interior. “Everything you see in the interior architecture- from the handmade flooring tiles to the art deco inspired furniture was all custom designed and handcrafted especially for the space to bring out Cord’s core design philosophy of merging art, nostalgia and travel,” announced the label. 

Instead of mannequins in the store’s window, Cord has chosen human sized puppets. Inside the store, the bespoke details continue and furniture is covered in Cord’s own textiles with embroidered designs, mirroring the craft driven garments from its spring/ summer collection. 

“We are very excited to celebrate 10 years of Cord, but we’re also celebrating art in general,” said the brand’s co-founders Pranav Guglani and Neha Singh, Elle India reported. “Our new concept store is a reflection of everything that has inspired us- art, travel, and a sense of wanderlust that we hope to translate into every corner of this space.”
