“It’s only been 24 hours since we aired and the response has been unreal,” announced Dorabi’s co-founder Ashima Batra in a reel on Instagram on February 26. “Thank you guys for all your love and support.”

Entrepreneurial family Vinod Batra, Ashima Batra, and Sonia Batra presented their fashion brand to Shark Tank India’s panel of judges and shared their plan to expand across numerous product categories, Moneycontrol reported. Originally asking for Rs 75 lakh in funding in exchange for a 3% stake in the business, intense negotiations resulted in a joint offer from two of the ‘Sharks.’

To celebrate its successful investment negotiation, Dorabi has launched a 10% discount across its e-commerce store. The brand will also take part in fashion exhibition Jalsa in New Delhi on February 27 to showcase its latest designs, the event organisers announced on Instagram.

Dorabi specialises in fusion style womenswear and retails from its direct to customer e-commerce store. The label also recently launched on multi-brand platform Myntra Luxe and receives 100% of its revenue from online sales. Dorabi describes itself as India’s only 100% hand-dyed apparel label and also runs the minimalist workwear brand Aamili.
