Marella, the contemporary Italian fashion brand under the Max Mara Fashion Group, has teamed up with supermodel and entrepreneur Emily Ratajkowski for the launch of a capsule collection.

Launching on February 4, the capsule collection highlights the blazer – a hero item for Marella. It includes seven distinct styles including the bomber blazer, the belted blazer, the denim blazer and the cutout blazer, among other pieces.

The collection is available in classic black, blue and white, as well as a pop of red. Prices range from $550 to $900.

The collaboration is part of Marella’s ongoing efforts to expand its presence in France and internationally. The brand recently opened its second boutique in Paris, strengthening its footprint in the French capital.

Marella, founded in Reggio Emilia in 1971, was launched to provide premium products at accessible prices and became an independent company within the Max Mara Group in 1988. It has since evolved into a global brand, available in more than 200 single-brand stores and 1,400 multi-brand outlets worldwide.

Looking ahead, Marella has significant expansion plans for 2025, including the opening of its first flagship store in Munich and a stand-alone boutique in London’s Marylebone district. The brand will also debut a shop-in-shop at Harrods and further develop its footprint in the Middle East with new stores in Riyadh and Cairo.

In North America, Marella will open two additional corners at Bloomingdale’s, bringing the total to 10, and launch its first Canadian store in Vancouver.

Since January 2023, Marella has been part of Dedimax, a subsidiary of the Max Mara Fashion Group focused on the contemporary sector.
