Thakar’s investment in the business will also bring mentorship and market insights, according to NeoSapien. With its Rs 80 lakh investment, NeoSapien plans to launch its initial production batches, expand its research and development capabilities, and create a community of early product adopters.

“NeoSapien is fundamentally changing how we interact with technology,” said Boat’s co-founder and CEO Sameer Mehta, who is an investor in the business. “By creating a wearable that’s not just reactive but learns and adapts to you, they’re pioneering a new category of AI companions.”

Dhananjay Yadav and Aryan Yadav founded NeoSapien in 2024 and launched ‘Neo1,’ a product the entrepreneurs describe as “India’s first ever AI native wearable.” The necklace-like device is referred to by the business as a ‘second brain’ and it is designed to integrate AI into daily life by organising tasks, tracking conversations, and offering emotional insights, according to NeoSapien.
