Multi-brand Indian fashion boutique Ogaan will launch a festive pop-up in Kolkata on December 19 to showcase winter collections from up and coming designers from across India.
“Please join us for a one day pop-up of some of the coolest contemporary and fusion collections from our favourites including 63 East, Happi Space, Ofrida, Studio Moda, Vaayu and many more,” announced Ogaan on Facebook. Mumbai-based womenswear brand 63 East will present its playful, textile driven apparel at the pop-up. The label’s clothing is 100% cotton and made from locally sourced materials made in fair trade factories, according to its website.
Ofrida’s latest collection ‘Nomadi’ mixes bold patterns in soft, neutral tones and features fluid tailored trousers, trench coats, and smart casual separates. Kolkata based brand Vaayu will retail its brightly coloured sets with subtle prints and soft drapes.
Ogaan also recently launched Payal Khandwala’s latest collection of ‘Timeless Brocades’ from her ‘Release 12’ across its stores in Hauz Khas, Malcha Marg, Banjara Hills, and Kolkata. The collection mixes metallic prints and tailored shapes for a modern take on heritage brocades, something the brand has become known for.
Ogaan was founded in 1982 by Kavita Bhartia in New Delhi. The multi-brand boutique houses a wide range of premium and luxury Indian labels including Punit Balana, Nikasha, Studio Rigu, Raw Mango, One Not Two, Mati, Aseem Kapoor, Yam India, Five Point Five, and Deme by Gabriella among others. Along with its boutiques, Ogaan also runs an e-commerce store.
