Adidas launches new jersey for Indian cricket team with Harmanpreet Kaur (#1683620)

Adidas, the official kit sponsor of the Indian cricket team has launched the new one-day internationals (ODI) jersey for the Indian cricket team at the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) headquarters in Mumbai.

The jersey unveiled by the Indian women’s cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur will be worn by both the women and men’s team at upcoming tournaments.

Adidas is into its second year of partnership with the BCCI and will continue to provide the Indian cricket teams with match wear as well as training and travel gear. 

Commenting on the partnership, Neelendra Singh, general manager at Adidas India in a statement said, “Our partnership with the BCCI is one that we take great pride in & are excited for this historic moment as we progress into the second year of this collaboration. The launch of the all-new ODI jersey with the India women’s team is a testament to our unwavering support for women in sport.”

Harmanpreet Kaur added, “This jersey is not just a uniform; it’s a symbol of how far women’s cricket in India has come and the recognition it continues to earn. With adidas’s dedication to state-of-the-art performance gear, this jersey empowers us to play our best and represent our country with pride.”

Last year, Adidas had acquired the exclusive rights for designing, manufacturing jerseys, kits along with other merchandise for Indian men’s, women’s, and U-19 teams.
