Japanese global apparel retailer Uniqlo has strengthened its retail footprint in India with the launch of its 15th store in the national capital New Delhi.
The brand also launched its Arigato Festival which will run till December 5 across all Uniqlo stores in India as well as online.
During the seven-day festival, the brand will offer its customers discounts on popular winter collections. It will also have in-store activities alongside launch of new collections including Anya Hindmarch.
Commenting on the launch, Kenji Inoue, chief operating officer at Uniqlo India in a statement said, “We are delighted to bring our Lifewear to more people through the opening of Uniqlo Pacific Mall Tagore Garden, our ninth store in Delhi NCR, continuing our commitment to offering innovative, high-quality apparel that enhances the everyday lives of our customers.”
“Today, alongside the opening of our new store, we also begin our Arigato Festival – a limited-time campaign of special offers to say thank you to our customers. We are always sincerely grateful to our customers in India for their ongoing support and look forward to bringing them Lifewear for many years to come,” he added.
India continues to be an important growth market for Uniqlo and expects it to reach a revenue total of Rs 1,000 crore ($118 million) by the 2025 financial year.
