New Delhi department store Broadway has reported a threefold increase in sales during its recent ‘Shop Till You Glow’ beauty festival which concluded on November 24 and welcomed over 6,000 visitors.
“The ‘Shop Till You Glow’ festival at Broadway enabled our large portfolio of D2C [direct to customer] brands to connect beautifully with customers,” said Broadway’s founder Vivek Biyani, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. “We plan to make this our annual IP, showcasing both established and emerging beauty brands under one roof. This initiative strengthens our beauty credentials, and we aim to create many more immersive experiences for our brands and customers.”
The three day beauty festival featured over 35 cosmetics brands and collaborations with more than 100 creators. Labels which took part in the event included Mamaearth, D’you, Nish Hair, Neude, Typsy, Vinci Botanicals, Charmacy, Juhst, and Sereko among others and activities included masterclasses, makeovers, and an appearance by celebrity makeup artist Meenakshi Dutt.
Broadway is located within Ambience Mall in New Delhi’s Vasant Kunj neighbourhood. The retail destination’s product categories include fashion, accessories, personal care, beauty, footwear, electronics, and food and beverages.
Following the launch of its New Delhi store, Broadway has set its sights on brick-and-mortar openings in Hyderabad and Mumbai as well as other locations, according to its website. The business’ tagline is ‘content, creator, commerce.’
