Parvathy Thiruvothu recently took to her official Instagram handle to share her reaction towards Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead role for Citadel: Honey Bunny. Despite being late to watch the show, the Thangalaan actress was apparently blown away by her contemporary’s performance.
In a short note penned on her Instagram story, Parvathy said, “Took me longer than I planned but I was also just picking my jaws off the floor watching what you’ve done! Agent Honey you are a solid firestarter! What a treat watching you ace especially those punches wowwwza!”

The web series Citadel: Honey Bunny had premiered on Amazon Prime Video earlier on November 6, 2024. The show directed by Raj & DK was an Indian adaptation of the English-language show Citadel, starring Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
The Indian version of the show served as both a spin-off and prequel to the original series, showcasing the trials faced by Nadia’s (played by Priyanka) parents, who were also agents. The show featured Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the main leads with an additional ensemble cast of actors Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Sikandar Kher, Saqib Saleem, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Singh Parihar, and more in key roles.
Moving ahead, Samantha had also recently hit the headlines when she commented on her divorce from ex-husband Naga Chaitanya. In an interview, the actress discussed her struggles and the trolls she had to face as she went through the separation and often being shamed with hurtful comments.
Coming to the actress’ work front, Samantha is currently in the works for her web series Rakt Brahmand alongside Aditya Roy Kapur. Furthermore, the actress also has the Telugu-language movie Maa Inti Bangaram in her lineup.
On the other hand, Parvathy Thiruvothu had recently played the lead role in the Tamil language movie Thangalaan, starring Chiyaan Vikram. The Pa Ranjith directorial told the action-adventure tale of set in the backdrops of Kolar Gold Fields, back in the day.
Furthermore, the actress is next set to appear in the lead role for the Malayalam movie called Her. The film directed by Lijin Jose features the story of five women who come from different class backgrounds with actors Urvashi, Aishwarya Rajesh, Remya Nambeesan, and more playing lead roles.
