Men’s fashion brand Reid & Taylor Apparel has debuted its official e-commerce store for the Indian market to offer its ready-to-wear products to shoppers across the country while boosting brand visibility.
“Today we have inaugurated our online business of Reid & Taylor Apparel,” said Reid & Taylor’s CEO of apparel and retail Subrata Siddhanta, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. “Now for all the men on the mission in India, we are just a few clicks away.”
Seeking to broaden its reach and connect with modern Indian men, Reid & Taylor has also partnered with Flipkart’s fashion arm Myntra to retail its goods on its Myntra’ multi-brand e-commerce platform. The brand is also expanding its brick-and-mortar footprint and recently opened seven new stores in Mumbai.
In October this year, Reid & Taylor announced Bollywood celebrity Vicky Kaushal as its new brand ambassador for India, the brand announced on Facebook. Kaushal stars in Reid & Taylor’s new apparel campaign and will use his pan-India popularity to connect with shoppers across the country.
Alexander Reid established Reid & Taylor in the UK in the 1830s with the financial backing of Joseph Taylor. The label specialises in suiting and men’s ready-to-wear and launched in the Indian market in 1998 with S Kumars Nationwide Limited.
