Flipkart’s fashion arm Myntra has launched a pilot programme for its fast delivery service ‘M-Now’ in select locations in Bengaluru with a curated selection of products. The business is increasingly venturing into the fast growing quick commerce market for growth.

“We launched M-Express earlier, towards enhancing the customer-experience with regard to speed and have been experimenting with a pilot for faster delivery in a select few pin codes,” a spokesperson for Myntra told the Press Trust of India. “We will look at expanding it further based on the insights gained, before launching it formally.”

The M-Now service guarantees delivery of products within two hours in eligible locations. The pilot programme offers a limited number of products to enable the business to test the service without overhauling its logistics.

Quick commerce services often store their merchandise in dark stores located within metropolitan areas which enables delivery personnel to bring them to customers swiftly. Some quick commerce businesses offer delivery in under an hour to select addresses. Although many quick commerce companies are expanding their product offering to include more fashion and beauty products, Myntra would be one of the first businesses with a sole focus on the sector to debut in the industry.
