Montblanc collaborates with GKB Opticals for anniversary collection launch

Eyewear retailer GKB Opticals recently held events at its stores in Mumbai and Bengaluru to celebrate the launch of Montblanc’s new collection. The premium line commemorates the 100th anniversary of the brand’s signature ‘Meisterstück’ pens under the artistic direction of Marco Tomasetta.

A group of premium shoppers gathered at GKB Opticals’ stores at Oberoi Mall in Mumbai and Indiranagar in Bengaluru to preview Montblanc’s new eyewear line, the business announced in a press release. The event was part of GKB Opticals’ new exclusive previews series, which invites select shoppers to engage with a brand’s collection and heritage. Shoppers were invited to pre-order the limited edition line, which feature details such as rings and a nib designed to reference the Meisterstück pen’s form.
 
“Drawing on the rich heritage of the German House, the collection features an exquisite array of sunglasses and optical frames that exemplify Montblanc’s commitment to craftsmanship and innovation,” announced the business in a press release. “A standout of this collection is the limited-edition eyewear created in honour of Meisterstück’s centenary. These exclusive pieces boast stunning resin-finished motifs and vibrant colours, incorporating elements inspired by the legendary fountain pen that symbolises timeless luxury.”
 
GKB Opticals was founded by Brijendra Kumar Gupta in Kolkata in 1968. The business counts over 90 stores across India and retails a selection of international and homegrown brands.
