London Bullion Market Association adds Choksi Heraeus to ‘Silver Good Delivery List’

Silver refinery business Choksi Heraeus Private Limited has been added to the London Bullion Market Association’s ‘Silver Good Delivery List,’ effective from November 14, following a rigorous testing process.

London Bullion Market Association has found that Choksi Heraeus Private Limited’s business meets its requirements for ownership, history, production capacity, and financial standing to join other global businesses on its ‘Silver Good Delivery List,’ the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council announced on its website. To obtain its certification, Choksi Heraeus Private Limited was inspected by independent referees which examined and assayed its silver bars and assessed its own in-house assaying capabilities.
 
The London Bullion Market Association’s ‘Good Delivery List’ is an internationally recognised certification to confirm the quality and purity of precious metals. Choksi Heraeus Private Limited joins 65 gold refiners and 80 other silver refiners who have obtained the certification.
 
Choksi Heraeus Private Limited was set up in 1988 and specialises in silver refining. The business began a joint venture with precious metals business Heraeus to enhance its capabilities in 1994 and the business today runs an integrated production facility which is equipped with advanced electro and chemical refining processes to enable it to refine large volumes of silver for use in numerous industries.
