Italian sneaker and clothing brand Golden Goose has opened a flagship store in New Delhi’s premium shopping mall The Chanakya. The store launched with an interactive event in collaboration with jewellery brand Bhavya Ramesh.
“Head into the season with rugged elegance at your feet,” announced The Chanakya on Facebook. Golden Goose launched their flagship India store in signature style, in an exclusive co creation with Bhavya Ramesh. Now open, at The Chanakya.”
The store’s launch party saw fashion enthusiasts and influencers customise their Golden Goose sneakers with an array of embellishments and finishes. The store has a segment dedicated to customising sneakers and also houses a range of men’s and women’s apparel.
The Chanakya is located in New Delhi’s Chanakyapuri neighbourhood at Yashwant Place and spans 189,000 square feet, according to its website. The premium shopping centre houses a wide selection of luxury fashion labels including YSL, Ted Baker, Chanel, Rolex, Ralph Lauren, Tiffany & Co, and Hèrmes among others. Run by DLF Group, the shopping centre also houses a cinema and food court.
Golden Goose was founded by Alssandro Gallo and Francesca Rinaldo close to Venice, Italy in the year 2000. The label is owned by Permira and its current CEO is Silvio Campara. Golden Goose describes itself as a “next gen luxury brand,” according to its website, and operates in 85 countries with 191 mono-brand stores.
