Crocs opens first flagship store in Kochi

Footwear brand Crocs has opened a flagship store in Kochi. Located on the second floor of the city’s Lulu Mall, the bright store bolsters Crocs’ retail presence in Kerala and offers a range of casual footwear for men, women, and children.

“Exciting news, Crocs fans, India’s first Crocs flagship store is now open at LuLu Mall, Kochi’s second floor,” announced Lulu Mall Kochi on Facebook. “From classic clogs to the latest styles, it’s all here. Step up your shoe game!”
 
The store features a giant decorative croc shoe and walls of colourful crocs in different designs. An area of the store is dedicated to ‘jibbits;’ charms which can be attached to crocs to personalise and customise them. The jibbits include large bows, glittering jewels, and cartoonish characters among others. The store also features seating areas so shoppers can try on their Crocs of choice.
 
In other Indian regions, Apparel Group India has opened a number of Crocs stores this year including in Faridabad’s Mall of Faridabad in September. Crocs partnered with Apparel Group India Private Limited in July to expand into North and East India as Apparel Group was made the exclusive retail licensee for the region. Apparel Group India retails a range of international brands in the Indian market including Charles & Keith, Victoria’s Secret, and Aldo with over 2,200 stores in the country.
