Lenskart expands children’s eyewear offering with customisable line

Eyewear and eye care business Lenskart has expanded its children’s product offering and launched ‘Hooper Creatr’ to personalise children’s eyewear experience. The new collection offers fully customisable glasses sets to promote comfort and self expression.

“As a parent, I know how important it is to make eyewear both practical and enjoyable for kids,” said Lenskart’s founder and CEO Peyush Bansal in a press release. “Hooper Creatr is a project very close to my heart because it’s not just about vision correction- it’s about giving children the opportunity to express themselves through their glasses. We’ve designed Hooper Creatr to grow with kids, ensuring that their frames are not only comfortable today but also supportive of their eye health in the long run as they manage myopia.”
 
The new Hooper Creatr glasses frames feature adjustable temple tips and changeable nose pads. The frames’ unbreakable ‘Flexi’ hinges increase durability and cushioned nose pads ensure mark-free wearing.
 
The frames are specially designed to accommodate myopia-control lenses, in response to the growing rate of the eye condition amongst India’s youth. The collection also features rectangle, round, and geometric design frames made with both plastic and metal fronts.
 
Packaged in a vibrant box, the Hooper Creatr range is designed to engage children to get excited about their eyewear. The collection has launched across all Lenskart stores in India and online via the business’ e-commerce platform.
