Activewear brand TechnoSport has opened a 1,500 square foot store in Tirupur as its largest address to date. The new outlet retails TechnoSport’s full selection of athleisure and sportswear and bolsters its brick-and-mortar presence in Tamil Nadu.
The outlet is situated on the Avinashi Tiruppur Road, TechnoSport announced on Facebook. The store caters to men, women, and children and its bright, industrial style interior houses the brand’s colourful t-shirts, leggings, shorts, long sleeves, polo shirts, and other sporty products.
“Tiruppur is special for us because it is home to our factory,” said TechnoSport’s co-founder Sumit Santhalia, India Retailing reported. “We are excited to open our largest store here,” said co-founder of TechnoSport. “This new location will help us improve the shopping experience for our customers.”
TechnoSport launched its first outlet in Coimbatore in August this year in the city’s R S Puram. The brand also announced its plans to open between 15 and 16 new flagship stores in the 2025 financial year. The brand will focus on the states of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana for its brick-and-mortar expansion and plans to launch a mix of flagship outlets, high-street and mall stores, and shop-in-shops at sports destinations.
In the 2026 fiscal year, TechnoSport plans to enter the West and North Indian markets to connect offline with shoppers in these areas. The business raised Rs 175 crore in May this year to help fuel its continued brick-and-mortar expansion.
