Good Glamm Group completes acquisition of Sirona Hygiene

Beauty, personal care, and media business Good Glamm Group has completed its acquisition of Sirona Hygiene in a Rs 450 crore deal. Sirona Hygiene’s founders Deep Bajaj and Mohit Bajaj have now resigned as active directors after they stepped down from their active roles in the brand earlier in the year.

“It hasn’t been an easy road- bootstrapping, overcoming fundraising challenges, breaking taboos, and dealing with copycats – we have seen it all,” said Sirona Hygiene’s co-founder Deep Bajaj,” India Retailing reported. “This all-cash acquisition feels like validation for all the hard work. While it’s difficult to part with something we are so deeply connected to, Good Glamm is the ideal partner to take Sirona to the global stage.”
 
Sirona Hygiene describes itself as a fem-tech brand and retails products including face serums, intimate washes, after-toilet sprays, pregnancy tests, and menstrual cups among others, according to its Facebook page. The business was founded in the 2015 financial year and received a Rs 100 crore investment from Good Glamm Group in 2022 through both primary and secondary investments.
 
“With Sirona’s pioneering spirit and our collective resources, we are excited to elevate the brand to new heights, creating a lasting impact on women’s wellness globally through innovative solutions and products,” saidGood Glamm Group’s group founder Darpan Sanghvi.
